This series of photos chronicles the resurrection of our beloved algae. The installation used for bringing back the algae to life was video-streamed over the Web for ten days to Ghent, Belgium as part of the festival, The Game is Up! How to Save the World in 10 Days.

It's interesting how the tank on the left (which received a healthy dose of dried algae flakes) has that bright intense green that Biomod [ATH1] had. (What a pretty green that is.) The tank on the right (which relied only the bits of algae that were left inside the water pump) has a much redder tint and seems to heavily feature other kinds of algae. The tanks contained different kinds of fish, which might account for some of the difference...
