Invitations were all over the place, text messages, email, Facebook’s inboxes, Friendster’s bulletins and shout-outs!  It’s time, I said…

I wasn’t able to witness the success of first exhibit held in Los Baños due to heavy rain. But, despite of the drizzling weather earlier today, I didn’t allow my self to miss, The Opening Ceremony of the Final Phase of Biomodd Exhibit in the Philippines held in MCAD, La Salle CSB.

I arrived 5pm in MCAD and all were still busy making sure that things were in proper forms. I felt useless inside and so I went out to have early dinner. And when I went back to the exhibit area, everything was in place. People were also inside to witness the collaboration of computer and nature that most people never thought could be together. Medias was there. Cameras were non-stop flashing. All important people of UPOU were also there.

The exhibit started with a short program. Several people were onstage to welcome everyone and to give brief introduction of the Collaborative Art Piece. I myself, who is a part of Biomodd Team, was in awe when I saw the Art, placed in center of the exhibit area. Even big names who attended the exhibit were happy to try playing the game associated with the art piece.

Indeed, it was a huge success that Angelo and Diego, together with the help of the entire Biomodd team, were able to introduce nature to technology, technology to nature.

Biomodd is another milestone for all artists in the Philippines. Another great experience to treasure.

(P.S. Thanks CSB-HRM students for the amazing Pica-pica… I love caramelized tart so much, while a shot Novelino’s white wine sent me home earlier…)
